This topic contains all the lingo used in Counter-strike: Source
Broken in to sections of lingo for maps and other area's of the game. Please post any commonly used lingo you want to add to the list. Try and follow the current format when submitting words.

General game lingo

• Tickrate- The amount of times a server processes the "world"
  
• Ping- Referred to commonly for source as your server latency (viewed by holding the TAB key down)
  
• GFX- Referred to as your graphics card
  
• pown- To dominate someone in game
  
• rolled- When the opposing teams beats you without having a single member die.
  
• Clutch - to be the last man on your team alive and to kill the rest of their team singlehandedly.
  

Source map(s) lingo

• long- Usually the longest but striaght open path to a bombsite
  
• mid- The middle path that typically leads straight to the opposing teams spawn area
  
• spawn- the area where the team spawns each round
  

Source weapon lingo & acronyms

• AWP- the magnum warfare police edition sniper rifle
  
• m4- the M4a! assault rifle for CT's
  
• ak- the CV-47 automatic rifle for T's
  
• Deagle - the Nighthawk 50. Pistol ($650)
  
• Dak dak - Either of the Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifles
  
• Noob Cannon - Either a dak dak, or the automatic shotgun.
  

Source acronyms

• GLHF- good luck have fun
  
• GG- good game
  
• Nvm - nevermind
  
• FPS- your frames per second (viewed by typing cl_showfps 1) in game
  

These are just a few as I'm running out of time. please post the ones you know of. make sure they are commonly used.

gf = Good fight

GG = Good Game
afk = away from pc
n1 = nice one
slay = kill
ff = friendly fire
eco = when you haven't got enought $
rr = restart
np = no problem
