Okay so just today i've been vac banned perm. from steam... Now i feel all retarded coz i dont even know what i have done.

I have read the agreements over and over again, and tried to find results of if i have done anything like that lately. None pretty much fitted, so could you guys tell me what i have done?

I read alot about hacking, even googled it to find more information about "hacking". I dont know if that's the reason i've been banned, I've tried my best to keep off virusses off my computer. Which also includes hacks, because i heard a few of my friends getting viruses that way. I scan my computer every week, so i dont see why it could be virus.

If offended language can ban people, then i shouldn't be banned either. If someone offend me, i wont say anything the first time. I'll be silent the second time, and most of the times. But if someone say something against my family or my near friend i will leave instantly, and i dont know how that can be ban.

So please Steam/This Forum, if you got any ideas or anything to help me and cheer me up. Please come with it, i almost feel like crying. I can't stop playing those steam games.

Well if vac ban is where when i enter a game (like css) it says the cross to all servers at the shield. Then yes.

Man i really hope someone knows the answer of this... I'm really tired now, i just want to play :/

Unfortunately, Valve take major pride in their VAC system and never do they reverse the bans that it makes. Rather than detecting aimbots and whatnot, the VAC system simply detects a difference in certain files in your cstrike folder, and when it detects it, it assumes it hacks. It only looks at certain files, and is never wrong, so you may have either accidentally downloaded hacks? Did a friend/complete stranger tell you to download something and put it there?

Well i talked to my friend over phone, and he texted me and said that once. For about 1 year ago, he downloaded some crap on my computer and played all lots of un-vac servers.

I think he tried to cheer me up, i dont know if he really did it...

But if i rebuy source, do i have to make a new account?

yes - DO NOT make the mistake of buying nay other game on your vac banned account, because you wont be able to play ANY valve game. You must make a new account

lol, yes.

I just think he´s been playin with hacks or some like that and now he wants to recover the account somehow.
He is brave enough to hack but not brave enough to admit he hacked.

And to the post: Make a new STEAM account for your new game and dont hack anymore.

Well wouldn't it just be an idea to keep 2 accounts then? 1 for css and cs and another for my 2 bought games...?

Btw, what will happen if i use my CD-key with Half Life 2 (CSS included)

And if i want Half Life 2, where CSS is included no matter what. But i dont want to be banned again from css, and only want Half Life 2. Can i install Half Life 2 without installing css from my CD?

Your steam account will not be able to play any games on at all, even if you add them to your account after you were banned.

Any CD Keys you used to add games to your current account cannot be used to add games to another account.

If you wish to play again, you will need to create a new account and then repurchase any games you want.

Oh i see, well thank you guys for your quick response. Games is cheap on this time of the year i guess. I'd be able to have 2 accounts since GMOD is a third-player thing so i ain't vac banned from there.
