Hey guys my windows xp has some type of fault in it with the way that it lets you log in and change users. I had service pack 2 and have just upgraded to number 3 and has showed no difference so that wouldnt be the problem.

Anyway when I go into control panel and into the change users settings (note: i am an administrator of my computer), I click the button 'Change the way users log on or off' and it comes up with an error message saying:

A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast user switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the program. The following file name might help you identify the program that made the change: MrvGINA.dll

and no its not recent as its been like this for over 2 years now.

I have uninstalled everything on my computer except the main things like internet explorer and media players. all the things like that. I removed steam and all the games and it is really frustrating. Could someone please tell me how to fix this.

ok i know what this is mate XD

its your network card, what u can do is get new driver for the card im guessing its wireless card? and for the start up screen there is a program out there that can help u i think its called tweakiu u can do an automatic log on and get past that screen.
