moved to forums help. and for your issue just click profile scroll to the near bottom and you will see and upload avatar button.

To add/modify a forums avatar, click on the Profile link at the top of the page. Near the bottom of the Profile form, there is a section for adding/modifying an avatar. If you continue to have problems, please let us know.
