Does a gaming mouse (like Razor etc.) actually help in your aiming and overall gameplay? Please share your opinions

yes some do for example make sure that your mouse has zero lag and is not a track ball mouse. if your looking for a mouse that has zero lag i would shugest buying one form the top gaming companys like Razer, or Logictech. Also make sure you are playing on a smooth surface if not by a high quality mouse pad.

I have a Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse and I have found that the grip, weights and sensitivity systems all allow me to customise my gaming to how I like it.

I use a Logitech MX Revolution. It is not especially customized for gaming, but it is still a great mouse, even for gaming, but I am thinkin' about to buy the new Logitech gaming mouse G9, cuz I dont get the precision I want... Anyone knows more about it?

Good choice, I love my G9. It's perfect! It has two different grips, depending on how you want the mouse to feel in your hand (one's really fat and one's really skinny), and it has settings that you can change on the fly. The sensitivity controls are right on the left button, so it's really easy to knock down the sensitivity really fast, like when you're sniping. It has a removable tray that holds weights (included) so you can decide how heavy or light you want the mouse. The cord is braided, so you'll never have to worry about it wearing out at the ends or fraying, and with customizable side and mouse-wheel buttons, you almost don't have to use the keyboard except to move! I'd recommend this mouse to anyone, man.

lol, for some reason I found this funny. But really, the razor mouse is nice, because the top is all one solid piece and to click you don't need much pressure. If you have the money I'd go for it. I have a logitech though, it is similar to the razor, because it is a one piece top. Don't go for the multi-piece mice, I hate them. haha.

I've been using my Razer Diamondback 3g for almost a year now, and I have to say it has improved my gaming a great deal and overall made it a more enjoyable experience. The extra buttons really help with all those binds, which shaves split seconds off frequently, which is always extremely important in FPS. I also use a Razer Lycosa.. Just thought I would add that because I love it ^_^

I have the original razerdiamond back (before the 3g) I loved that mouse had it for 2-3 years now just gave it to my girl. In addition to it being great quality wise ( never broke malfunctioned or other) it improved my game considerably its greta for the gamer who uses high sens. also great for just browsing websites and such extra buttons add more features making it easier. I now have the lachesis which is another razer although i hate razer other peripherals like heasets i think their gaming mice are superior to anything logitech has put out.
