I just installed CS:S tonight and at first, STEAM did not work because of something with my proxy.. so I fixed that (which seemed to be the least of my problems) and when I went to click on CS:S... absolutely nothing would happen.. I tried double clicking it multiple times and then clicking the half life and death match icon several times!!!! Someone help me!! I really want to play

Steps to try and help:

1. De-frag the game you want to play. (Right click on the game in "library" go to the "LOCAL FILES" tab and click "Defrag Cache Files"

2. Reinstall the game itself

3. Reinstall Steam if all else fails
