Every time i go to play counter strike: source on steam, the main menu page of CS:S come up for like a second, then it goes back to what i was doing previously before i clicked it and a little box pops up saying;

Engine Error
Platform Error: module failed to initialize

What does this mean??
And i have tryed to re-install it, nothing happens, i have closed down basically every other internet running program, nothing happens.... and its really starting to drive me around the bend...
Can anybody help me please??...

So he went for MC²

There is a simple solution for this.

1) Open Steam, and click File-->Settings
2) Select the tab named 'In-Game'
3) Find where it says 'Enable Steam Community In-Game' and untick the box. It should work.
