Presentation:

• Correct grammar/punctuation
  
• Paragraphs
  
• Text effects
  
• Different colors/sizes used.
  

I hope this gives a good representation of a good clan advertisement. After all to get members you need to look organized and professional.

did you mean IRC? it stands for internet relay chat, the most popular client being mirc: http://www.mirc.com/ it's use to me and a lot of others is organising matches/mixes between various teams.
