This topic will take you through some of the basic features of the forum and how to use them. It will inform you about the forum its self and the general community and ethos.

Here at counterstrikesource.com we have some rules set in place to ensure this community stays a nice, safe and fun. I encourage you to familiar yourself with these rules, doing this will prevent you from running into trouble along the way .

Posting
Things To Follow:
When posting try to make sure your posts contain good grammar/spelling. Especially when posting in support sections whether your asking for help or giving the solution you need to make yourself understood. Your posts should be readable and you should try to get your thoughts and advice across as simply as possible to make it easier to understand.

Posts like "OmG My C:SS wont work omg This sucks Help Plox!! I dunno whats wrong"
will slow down a solution to your problem because no one can understand.

Effects
Posting effects are used to make certain words or sentence to stand out.
Here is a full list of effects and how to use them.

Profile Features
This forum has a great profile customization system. You can upload avatars, use signatures and put in loads of info about yourself and your way of life.

Avatars
To use an avatar go to your profile then scroll right down to the bottom. Either upload from your Desktop or wherever or you can input the direct link into the from URL box.

Signatures
Many people find getting an image in their signature hard. So here's how to do it.
Again go to your profile and about half way down under interests you'll see the input box for a signature. You can either use text effects and input some text or you can put a image in.
To put in a image you need a link to your image. Upload it to somewhere like PhotoBucket, then you need to copy the direct link (URL) (Image Location) and at the start of the link add the tag [IMG] and at the end ad [/IMG]

e.g
