Anyone else really like the Mac book air??
I think the design is so sleak it looks like it's made out of cardboard.

Apparently, despite its thin design, it performs like crap. I'd rather have a thicker laptop than a crapper one.

The flaws with the air is this. It's caught in the "bad zone" it was developed to be sleek and fashionable but as for purpose it was made to be very lightwieght which many travelers look for in a laptop. Here is the problem its lightweight yes, BUTTTT its large in form factor the laptop is actually very wide and has a decent sized screen making it awkward for those looking for a small form factor laptop. Its all about portability and space saving but is it really saving space just by being thinner and easy to break??? Also alot of people don't realize the HD that comes on that thing is rediculously small and it only has one usb port there for ALL of the essential "normal" laptop devices must be added via USB such as rom drive's additional HD space camera and other things. It was made super thin but at a cost.

I was considering getting a mac book air but for the money you can get a pretty decent mid end gaming desktop.

Yeh I agree with that, I've gone of the idea now. I just upgraded my RAM instead.
