Back in the day I was one of the top awpers in cal-main for css. Now I will reveal my secrets to all of you.

First off lets go through awping words so you can fully understand what I'm talking about.

Flickshot: Quickly scoping in once and quickly forcing your crosshair torwards the enemy and shooting at the same time.

No Scope: Shooting without scoping in.

Wallbang: Hitting the target through the wall.

Quick Scope: Scoping in once and quickly firing an inacurate shot.

Prefire: Shooting without or before someone is in that area.

Okay so those are the main words you need to know. I'll now teach you what situations to use them all in.

Quick scoping should be used when enemies are really close to you and you need to roughly aim at them and fire quickly. (Only use if you are bad at no scoping)

No scoping should also be used when enemies are really close but its faster and harder to hit the enemies. Only use if you know where the center of your screen is (the crosshair) and how to no scope wich I will later explain.

Flick shotting should be used at far or close range. I find it more useful at far range. This may take a while to master so just keep trying and you'll get the hang of it.

Prefiring effectively isnt very hard at all. Although it may seem it for those of you unfamilliar with the awp its quite simple. If you see an enemy running to an area quickly scope in on the area hes heading torwards and prefire it. He will most likely end up running into it. Also prefire all common areas, you will get atleast one kill a round that way.

Wall banging also known as "walling" someone is pretty simple. All it requires is being able to know how fast players run so yo can get a rough estimate of where they are behind the wall. This will be helpfull with shooting people through objects and walls or prefiring befire they come out from behind the wall causing them to run into it.

Now here are some AWPing tactics.

Do not run or jump while awping. It is very inacurate and just causes yor death faster.

Do not crouch and awp. Although it i more acurate it makes your hitbox bigger and easier to hit. Always stand and fire for it is most effective.

Scope only once. You get a bigger area of view so you can see much more making it easier to kill your enemies.

If you are covering an area such as mid on de_cpl_mill do not move at all. Stand completely still this will cause your eyes to work for your advantage. Your eyes will adjust to what you see and the slightest change of movement your eyes will pick up quicker making your reaction faster. Also never move from your position because you will catch rotaters. Only move if you are the last one left or you need to defuse the bomb.

I will further demonstrate flickshots, quickshots, etc by making videos of them when I can.

I hope this helped Smile

lol most of css is practice only few things can drastically change your preformance. im thinking of making a sticky.. or making a post hoping to turn into a sticky about some things that can change your preformance now, and in the future.
