Hey guys. I have a slight problem. I'm pretty sure i fixed it, but just in advance. Whenever i try to install american conquest,It stops at 99.9%. I waited an hour for it and it still didn't finish. And it also stops at other places in the installation, like at 83.9%,and 50.1%, and doesnt move.

Any suggestions on how to fix?

Perhaps you have a faulty disc? Or, on the disc packaging, read what it has to say about System Requirements. See if your computer matches or is greater than those requirements. If it isn't, sorry buddy, upgrade your computer and if it is, post here again.

Na dude. I have all the requirments. It's just that it stops in the installation in random places every time. Sometimes it might get to 99.9%, but then not finish.

Anyother suggestions?

have you checked your windows system errors? sometimes it may be storing an error that could be related to your problem. such as the cd-rom drive having an error or a memory read error which can cause a lock up during large amounts of data movment.

My disc is scrathfree.But i think i found a solution. i right clicked on AC in my computer and clicked explore. I right clicked on setup and went into properties. I went into the compatability tab and ran it in Windows XP SP2, and gave it admin privelages. I'm installing it now and i'll let u guys know if it worked.

Huh....Unfortunately it didn't work. Man i've tried everything! I don;t know but it must be the disc. I mean, thats the only thing that i can think of. I don't know HOW it could be the disc but it probably is.
