ok so i have been playin this game since the first one came out. but i have never been able to get better i still have terrible K/D ratios in open games. i just have a few questions about aiming and gun bursts.

Where should i aim?

is jumping bad while gun fighting?

how should i shoot?

ok, well, to kill two birds with one stone... where to aim... and how to shoot... depends on:
1. the situation
2. the weapon against you.
Of course, while having a gunfight at long distance, you should always take short, 1-3 shot bursts aimed at the head. But to make it harder for your enemy to shoot at and than actually hit your head, you perform the act of strafing (moving back and forth in quick, random patterns). and only shoot at your opponent at the extremes (the point at which you stop, and begin to move the other way), for this is wher eyou will have the most accuracy. When more close range, use the same techniche, but also burst fire at the chest while in mid movement.(one hint : try not to turn this into a spray, or holding down the mouse botton. keep it sepperate, this keep your accuracy much higher.) When close up (for example, running into an enemy while walking around a cornor, and they are in your face) you will want to do short/mini sprays(one quarter or one thid of a clip) at the area on their crouch or lower chest area (and strafe around them.) One hint for all of this is to find cover, a good, ideal place for cover while doing these tasks is behind something that protect all of your body, except your head.

Now, for the jumping concern...
Jumping is not a good idea in a gunfight unless!... you have run out of ammo in your clip, and have no place to hid/protect your self. A good example fo this would be close cpmbat, if you have just come out fo a long distance fight, and run into an enemy close, spray the rest of your rounds (as long as its a quarter or one third) at them, than, while reloading, jump around and spin your body around the try to avoid the enemys crosshair. This might help you live longer, or get the kill.

On hint that I have as well is always check your [1]health, [2]bullets left, and your [3]team radar.
[1] if you are low on helth, try to be more protected every where you go, even hen not in a gunfight.
[2] if you ar elow on rounds, find an area that will give you tome to reload, this could save you in the long run.
[3] this nifty devise shows you ever ebemy a teammate sees and their last position, so you can be ready for a close range fight, or you can go and help a teammate ouin a long range atk.

Jumping is not so bad when gun fighting, it has its ups and downs, when ur jumping, ur not an easy target, BUT, its hard to aim.

When u shoot, U CLICK THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON.

um, nothing really in that post is helpful. I might not know a lot since I am not pro (yet ) but playing the basics I believe is kind of simple. Look at that huge post by ProxXy, pretty helpful.

aim towards his head you noob. also newbie try ducking when you spray. (if you know what that is even) try nade bangers and flash.

I only care for cevo, I will agree. My team has a good recod in CAL but Cevo is where the true skill is at. Besides that I mainly focus on lanning over all internet leagues.
