I can't name any good death-metal bands off hand that are good - I doubt any exist. And I'm not talking about bands like Metallica... but death metal songs like the ones they use in Quantomeno Bay to toture people.
Some type of Heavy Metal bands are good.
And as for... rappers. No good ones I've listened to. |
i fucking hate death metal. i fucking love hip-hop. when i was 12 i would have probably supported the fags that say 'rap isn't real music'. rap is like all music there is some good, some bad. the majority of the bad is mainstream. thinking about it, none of the rap i like has even been played on the radio.

Hip-Hop, as far as I'm concered, sometimes has a distinctive beat to it that I like - attributing it to rap might make that song good. But the rapping itself? Unless it's poetic then I can't say it's good.
Take for example the song, "Ice, Ice, Baby!" That's right, I'm using that as my example. It's mainly awesome because of Queen's beat "hip-hop" from the song "Under Pressure."
