Well, vista is really pissing me off, and i miss the old-fashioned, simple Windows XP. Is there anyway to get it for free? Or atleast pay 20$ the most? [low on cash these days]? Vista is just chock full of errors and invalid scripts... And if i do make the switch, will all my things be lost, and if they are, is there a way to save them? (iTunes Music, limewire videos, etc. blah blah)
Thanks to anyone who responds =)

I'm not aware of any way to get Windows XP for free (legally of course). There's a chance you could buy a copy fairly cheap off of eBay, but you would be taking a significant risk of getting a pirated copy or one that wouldn't be "Authentic".

Microsoft had a program where they were downgrading people who felt that they weren't ready to "move on" to windows vista. You can check that out at microsoft.com :D
Good luck,

P.S.
You could always access the hidden administrative account on vista to bypass all those prompts. Also, it will allow you to copy straight to the hard drive. I don't recommend you do this unless you know about computers in general.
