i have a friend that have cs source and when i create my own server and invite him to join. he told me server is not resonding. how can i get him inside my server? thanks

unfortunately you wll have to buy a private server if you only want him in your game the one that you can make is basically for practice and you can only play with bots

Maybe your firewall is blocking it?

Yep, even if you open up ports etc. Sometimes it will still not work.

So much easier and better to rent a server.

Yeh, if u create a server its mainly for practise and bots, either rent or buy a server or i heard somewhere about a programme called "Hamachi" apparently it lets u play on the same game even if u create, ive neva tried, perhaps u mite want to?

Hey wondering if you guys can help... i have a problem with my left hand status messages in CS:Source. The text is like squashed almost like the width of the allowed area needs to be increased, but i've searched for the file to be edited but still unsuccessful....

any help on this will be greatly appreciated as it gets a lil irritating, especially if you needa read things quickly...

I tired of struggling and im hoping thers sum1 who's a little more clued-up in this matter than me....

yes also you can make a source dedicated server found under your steam page, located at the top theres a tab called "tools" then you can download source dedicated server it doesn't take up very much space.
Although I would not recommend it, nobody really joins those and you cannot have any admin plugins ( i dont think).
But if you just want you and your friend 2 1v1 then I think its just fine.
