Hi, here is some things i recommend:
Get a dark crosshair, make it quite dark.
As soo as you run out of ammo, switch to secondary.
If both of you run out of ammo at close range, KNIFE THEM! Mr. Green

Also, always crouch, its really good!

These are my tactics, if you were looking for something and its not here,
well too bad.

As for the running out of ammo tips, they are quite self-explanatory... However, always crouching just makes your gun slightly more accurate. If you are at close range against someone else, you aren't going to crouch and try to spray at them while they comfortably dodge your measly attempts to kill them, now are you?

If you have an M4A1, you should crouch for long range (long as in the road outside of cs_assault). If you have a UMP .45, boo hoo for picking one up by the way, you should rush the guy while nading/spamming some sort of sidearm. You won't get accurate results with the UMP .45 at that range, even with a crouch, and especially if he is strafing.

There isnt any reason to crouch if you are playing with the gun you are using, correctly. Using the M4A1 or the AK you just shoot 1-4 bullets at a time and you dont need to crouch. You should never be running at someone spraying or standing/crouching and spraying. And you can still move while you do a few shots at a time. But I have to say these are probably the best weapons for their acuracy/Power are better than almost all other weapons. I crouch when in a long distance range for only 1 reason, because it makes me a harder target, I dont plan on shooting worthless bullets by spraying too many at a time so I dont need to crouch.

These are pretty straight forward tactics, although for the crouching it kinda depends on the environment, because as it makes you a harder target to hit and also makes you more accurate, it only leaves your HEAD to shoot at, so if your shot while crouching, it could be your feet or your head, not much in between, so i tend to be careful when crouching.

Thats what problem i used to do... Until my friend told me how i should play, and i have such good flukes now by just tapping on the mouse, were on skype and my friends are amazed..... SPRAYING IS VERY UNACCURATE! NEVER USE THE BELGIAN GUM:: UMP 90. ITS HONESTLY RUBBISH (CLOSERNGE MAXIMUM) Rolling Eyes

Umm ithink this is going slightly offtopic... any way yeah. My tips are to strafe and to let off 2 - 3 rounds at the enemy neck each time you change direction. If you are compleatly out of ammo, do the whole jumping around going crazy thing until you have reloaded.
