Some tips I use:

Aim towards the chest, the recoil usually takes the shot towards the head -

Never try jump and shoot -

When hiding/camping with AWP, try to cover as much of your body as you can, so enemiesv struggle to hit/see you.

Not the best maybe, but it's what I did Embarassed

Dont go only for their bodies. for example, they dont need to be in the middle of your crosshairs for the awp to hit them. its the nature of the gun. essentially, once youve gotten good at it, all you have to do is have the body in the crosshairs general range for them to be hit.

Also, dont hesitate to shoot, the awp is to powerfull for that. example, if someones leg is poking out, dont wait for a better shot, shoot it and than if they've taken previous damage, they'll die. Or, they will run out with extremely low health which will enable a easy pistol kill.

aim at then n run from side to side..and shoot them while doing that..
because if u juss stay still and shoot them then they can get u faster....

If you shoot while moving, it will shoot WAY off target

im sorry m8s, but every thing every 1 has said is pretty nubish. U dont crouch, thats stupid, and plz dont get into all that scouts are better, its soo annoying, AWPs are obviously better, and if u really want to argue, why do CAL players never use scout? hmmm. anyone know how to quick zoom with an awp instead of just clicking twice to the farther zoom and then out..??

Nope, only way is to right click between no scope, half magnification, and full magnification.

Is that the right wording?

If you are on half magnification, I quickly pull out my knife or pistol for a split second before changing back to the sniper. And TJ Rocks, I only ever use AWPs if necessary and although AWPs are more powerful than scouts, scouts are more challenging and prove a CS:S player to be more talented than an AWPer. AWPs are really easy to kill with but that doesn't neccessarily make them more fun to use.
