whos the best?

i personaly say that Sean Connery is a complete beast at James Bond. i am an enourmous fan of James Bond but i dont think that Casino Royale (007's new movie) will do very well. It just doesn't seem very...James Bondish. by the trailer it looks more like a regular old sex and guns movie rather than a 007.

There is no doubt Sean Connery was the best Bond. But, I saw Casino Royale and thought it was excellent. What you heard was correct. It wasn't a typical (as per the last 20 years) Bond movie. But, I thought it was great. It was more about kicking ass than about using gadgets and having rockets shoot out of an Aston Martin. It was much more believable and I thought Daniel Craig was a very good Bond... hardcore and tough.

I haven't seen from Russia With Love, but I really really want to. As for a classic Bond movie, I'd definitely go for Octopussy or The Man with the Golden Gun. And I do think that Daniel Craig is the best bond ever; Casino Royale was the bomb.

I would disagree with everything you just said except that The man with the golden gun was awesome. Casino Royale did not capture the feel of James Bond films at all. In the classics, did the entire plot revolve around the girl and james' relationship? Extremely rare. The classic's centered around the plot/scheme of the bad guy, casino royale centered around james bond and his girlfriend. Very distasteful to me. I persoannly thought Casino was a disgrace to James Bond. It had a loser plot and it was just another shoot em up love movie. Would never see it again.

I say that every other Bond movie before that was five minutes of him kicking some sweet-but-completely-unrealistic ass and then five minutes of him getting the/a girl. They were all basically the same, which is why Casino Royale was so good. It was completely departed from the usual concept, had some good and actually realistic action in it, and had some humorous parts too.

I think your getting me wrong. I thought Casino Royale was a decent movie that blends in with every single action movie thats been coming out today. What I thought disgracefull was how they stuck James Bonds name in there as well. Go back and look at every single Bond film made. They are PLOT centered. They have the feel and atmosphere of James Bond. Daniel Craig did a great job, I wish he would do another Bond film. However, I REALLY wish he would have a 10x better director and editors.
