Valve has released an update that added in-game advertisements to Counter-Strike 1.6. Players will now see advertisements on walls while playing CS 1.6 (not CS: Source). In-game ads had been a part of the Beta previously, but now it has been released to everyone. Currently, the ads appear to only be for Valve's other games and are not found in all maps. The ads are found on the walls of some maps including Aztec and Dust2.

Let us know what you think about these ads being placed in-game. We think it is rediculous that Valve is putting ads in games that we paid for. Should Valve be allowed to force these ads on their gamers? What do you think? Discuss it in the forums!
